use Tablet as a wireless router? or wifi to lan?

is their any way I an use my tablet (eken m009s uberoid 10.1)
to share a Internet connection, from wifi to Ethernet, or vise-vera?
I know some people can teather 3g to wifi so why not ethernet?
(please excuse myt spelling, I'm using IE  :erm: )

Maybe using the XTRAMODS addon of Uberoid v11, this enables IPTABLES support, but not IPTABLET_NAT support. Plus you probably will need a rich linux background to pull it off.

I've done this in linux, you need a kernel with bridge support enabled, the bridge utils built for your device and either need a wireless driver that support ad-hoc or if you want a true access point you need a build of hostapd and a wireless with AP support, the latest RT2800 driver currently has AP support and I think that is the driver for the chipset on the 8650s.  There is some android way to do it since the high end phones offer tethering so the kernel might already have bridge support.

No ones really managed to get a working kernel build. So I doubt it :android-displeased: Hopefully soon they will  :android-smile:
