Android 2.3.3 ROM

Android 2.3 does have USB settings. At least on Galaxy S.

So I took apart my dongle.
It says M7206A ZJ 1.4


Must be #3, as MobileWizard had mentioned one called M7206A v1.2, and another called M7206B V1.4.

Hardware hell.

I pity resellers.

Sorry, I was going off memory when I typed. M7206A ZJ 1.4, is one of the ones I had. The other is m7206b ZJ 1.2.

oddly one of them must be the same as some which came with the last of the via8650 I sold, as I used one as a replacement. Worked on some, didn't on others.

Funny you mention that, I've decided yesterday to first start on the M7206 roms instead of continueing the ZT180 mod. Ofc I'll need to get Uberoid 11 going first :-) that's going OK, still no phone support though.

While the sources from gpl-devices.org still had all things compiled, I did "make clean" and recompilled it.
I wonder why these kernel images are smaller than the one included with uberoid.
Anyone willing to test this kernel on wm8650 device? It is not 2.3 android, it's just a new kernel, need to test if it boots. I don't have WM8650 device at hand atm. Here is the download link: http://multi-up.com/616570 or http://www.multiupload.com/9NN183XCSC

I love Uberoid  and have it on three tablets at home. The battery life on these MID 7 tablet is not great WM6580 green light red when charging black ear phone jack 256 kb 2 gig  option 8 on changer always works great I have ver 11 now and I'm very happy

let me give you a buyers beware... i have ordered 3 tablets from a reseller and they were all supposed to be the same but when i recieved them they all 3 looked the same but the "guts" were all different.... the only way to really know what you got is to check the system/build.prop files and this requires root.     just to let you know!!!!   these resellers are selling these tablets soooo fast that the manufacturers are using different firmwares and the resellers cant keep updated fast enough to properly inform buyers such as you and me ......  but good luck with your purchase and we have several tips and tricks on here to help you as much as possible at the current time.... and uberoid is in development process for these infotm tablets.  ooh yeah they are better than the wm8650 of yesterday.... faster and better graphics.     hope this helps!!!

to be honest with you i dont know of a vendor personally.... the only connection i have used/needed is a great deal on touchscreen protectors... here

Here's a source for the battery in my MID7 wm8650 tablet (http://www.pandawill.com/original-battery-for-eken-m001-m002-m009-m009s-mid-p40091.html). You'll need to check whether this battery is right for yours, but as far as vendors go I've had pretty good luck with them so far.
