try to plug a usb mouse into the dongle that came with your tablet and see if it will calibrate that way

it is not working appearantly and you might have to open the tablet to find out exactly what type of motherboard and processor is in it to try and locate firmware that will work for this model.... factory reset should work immediately after pushing the button for it... it might take 10-15 minutes to boot up after the reset but it should not hang on the calibration screen... there is somthing wrong with this tablet

p745....

you will need to contact re-seller for the factory firmware for this tablet ---or----->>>>

at least it is not a 200 dollar tablet to replace...

we do not have any help to offer for this tablet...

i have tried to help with locating roms or other info but i am not seeing anything to help you with resolving this issue and i have done all that i can for you.

please try another forum to see what type of assistance you can get from them...

most of the other forums do have more support for these "other" types of tablets...
and you may even get lucky and locate a member on one of them that has the firmware you need ...

techknow forum is here for the development and support of uberoid/ubertweaked tablets...
we do not support other roms or even like to refer members to other forums but in your case i believe this is the best solution for this issue...

i wish i could be of more assistance but i can not.

Whoops.  I guess the best thing would be to try to get the factory firmware from the manufacturer and reflash then.

biggboychris

i believe the moderators/staff here at techknow are aware of when all of the options have been exhausted in trying to help a member of techknow

in my honest opinion it is very disrespectful and outright rude to post behind a moderator without thinking of my first statement ^^^^^^^^                    ^^^

it is nice to suggest members to the search hotkey and i do appreciate you trying to help other members ---- but please do bear in mind that the moderators are moderators for a reason... we have proved ourselves and our knowledge to be in the position we are in. being a moderator at techknow is a volunteer position and it is most enjoyed when we do not have members second-guessing our better judgement.

so this being said please watch your posts when posting behind one of us moderators.

Well I did read it and was merely agreeing that his suggestion seemed best. So there is no reason to bash me, moderator or not.

Hence the "whoops" and "if/then" statement.

Sorry to hear you are having such trouble. (I know how it feels).
I can't offer you any better suggestions than those which have been shared by twjordo, but I just want to say...

Please try to not get too discouraged. I am sure you will eventually find something that works.

If you are in serious trouble, send me an email or msn message with specific details and I'll see if I can find a similar tablet so that I can try to replicate your problem and attempt to find solution. No guarantees offered, just a possibility.

Keep your chin up.

I have the same "problem" few days ago. Try this: DON'T ROTATE THE DEVICE! :) In "landscape" mode the calibrating won't work on my device. Maybe the problem is the same :)

  Same problem on a M009F.
30 pin USB  and M009F_key_v4.2  written on board.
I had problems with wifi, flashed it with latest firmware from eken (android 2.3.3),  restart,   I can see the android desktop for a second, and appears the calibration screen.
I point the 5 crossairs and : "try once again"   and again and again.........

I have tried and older firmware (Android 2.2) whith the same problem, so I think it could be a hardware problem.

After reading forums I think the only solution is that someone makes a backup of his tablet   (Kernel version 2.6.35.7. Build Number GRI40 Hardware 0.2.3.3) with the calibration screen passed :)
, and send it to me.  Can anyone help me??

Thank in advance

Hi for all
I have the same problem with chinese tablet 7inch with Infotmic X210 processor on the board says M010F  but I think that it's clone.
I successful softunbrick this tablet with IUW software. Now, I can't pass the calibration screen. Somebody has idea. It's 24 pin connector with 2.3.3 HWver. I have tested many rom possible with 2.3.3 HW ver but not success.

the only way to get past that is to flash it with an image that already has the tx calibrated ... i dont think we have a image for a m010F ... look in the rom section see if we have a stock rom for the m010F .... sounds like your soft unbrick was a partial fix ..
