If nothing else works .. try flashing uberoid ..
I got a similar tablet. The 4.3" PocketDroid e403 version. I believe these are the same. I first ran into trouble when it would not start correctly. Would light up but nothing. After a lot of confusion I figured out that once you turn it on, pressing the power button to on real quick puts it into a hibernation mode and pressing the power button again real quick was the wake up. To actually turn it off you need to hold it for about 2 seconds and the same to turn it back on. Holding it for 5 seconds forces it to shut off. Turn it back on and if it still gives issues, just try doing the quick power off and on (hibernation) to get is started again or the regular power on and off or finally the force shut off. Next issue was the android robot screen getting stuck with the robot looking back left and right. I tried the reset button a few times and got past the robot, this works for many people also. This then started to not work so I got the firmware from the seller and did what people here recommend by flashing the original ROM on it with the SD card. This option not exactly help but again it can work for others. So I then downloaded Uberoid v11b3 and flashed that. . .but it caused other issues such as images not fitting the screen and the touchscreen not working. This might work on a 7" or higher though. I ended up finding and downloading a "4.3_WM8650_Uberoid Light" Rom that ended up working for me because it was not as large as regular Uberoid. Sorry for the long post but I thought my story could help others going through the similar issues, to find a solution that does not include returning the item. The only issue I have now is getting my tablet to connect to my wifi spot. It keeps saying "cannot scan".
